Work plan 2013

NOROSH's main activity will be to publish the Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment & Health. During 2013, NOROSH will publish 6-8 issues of the Journal, consisting of a total of about 60-80 articles (e.g. original articles, reviews, discussion papers, editorials). The primary goal is to maintain the high scientific level of the Journal, evidenced by growing citation rates among the international occupational health journals and the journal’s strong impact factor.

The publishers of the Journal have earlier made a decision to move towards becoming an open access journal. Since being fully open access is economically not yet feasible, NOROSH needs to take a "mixed model" approach to funding the Journal, by utilizing features and income from both open access and traditional subscriptions. The Journal will continue to increase interest in open access publishing among its authors by promoting open access processing fees and memberships in NOROSH, which brings waived or reduced open access publishing fees.

NOROSH will host an annual meeting in June each year. In addition, the Executive Board will meet at least three times.
