Membership

As research becomes increasingly international, NOROSH strives for a broader international basis and thereby welcomes institutes and research organizations worldwide to join the society.

Annual membership of NOROSH (3 levels)

1. Full membership (EUR 10,000 for large institutions and EUR 5000 for small organisations in agreement with NOROSH Board)
Offered to incorporated international professional organizations, institutes and universities advancing occupational health and safety, who adopt the purpose and by-laws of the NOROSH. This membership must be approved by the NOROSH Executive Committee.
Full members receive:

  • one vote in the annual general meeting of NOROSH
  • one print copy of and free unlimited online access to Scand J Work Environ Health
  • open access publication of all accepted papers of first authors affiliated with full members at a cost of €500 per manuscript (page charge is waived).

2. Contributing membership (EUR 3000)
Any incorporated society (including universities, research institutes, and occupational health sponsors) that wishes to support the purpose and activities of the NOROSH may be accepted as a contributing member. Contributing members do not have a vote in the NOROSH annual general meeting but they may present issues for discussion at the meeting.
Contributing members receive:

  • free unlimited online access to Scand J Work Environ Health
  • all accepted papers of first authors affiliated with 100% contributing members are published OA at a cost of €500 (and page charge is waived)
